My love for hair commenced at the age of 8 during which my late uncle showed me how to braid my hair. 

Growing up in salons where my Grandmother, Grandfather , Aunt and Father were all Salon Owners. You can say it was both generational and in the blood. 

I relocated to Philadelphia almost 10 years ago to pursue a more in depth career in hairstyling. I attended Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and had my first salon job as an assistant 2 weeks before completion. I graduated beauty school and went straight to work the same day. 

I’ve been a stylist working in the City Of Brotherly love since 2018. I’m grateful, blessed, and honored to have met some of the most beautiful clients known to walk this earth. Without them I’d just be a lonely girl dreaming of hair and giving my cats haircuts. 

Throughout the years I’ve gained several certificates in haircutting, hair extensions and color! 

After I attended Vidal Sassoon ABC Men's Cutting Course in London, UK. I have been ecstatic to be back and better, behind the chair chasing my goals.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the best stylists in the city. Who all played a part in who I am as a stylist today.

I’m a jack of all trades when it comes to hair, but if asked what I enjoy most? My answer would be “All Things Hair”. From haircutting and balayage,to keratins and perms. Giving the best shampoo service, followed by the best Blow Out In The City. I’m your girl. 

In addition to being behind the chair you can find me writing, spending time with those I love, and being the world’s best cat mom. I love to travel and find the best restaurants. I’m an unpaid food critic and comedian for free as well. My motto is to Never Stop Learning.

As master stylist & master barber I aspire for a prolific quality output when providing services. My 10 years experience developed in central Philadelphia barbershops and salons, began at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, located just a few blocks away from Sonder Hair Studio. After moving to Philly in 2014 I was fortunate to have had the influence to take up a craft that allows me to be an artist, a craftsman, and student in such a rewarding profession. What I enjoy most is developing with my clients and understanding their individual wants and needs. From balayages to skin fades, formulations to new client consultations, I learned to love and appreciate it all. Throughout my career I never settled on barbering or hairdressing. Before cosmetology school I was a barber’s apprentice. I always found myself tethered to both ends of this industry, subsequently giving me the abilities to serve a greater range of clients.

Lil more about me, I am originally from New York. I play guitar and bass guitar. You can most likely find me cruising the city on my Harley Davidson motorcycle. I am big on health, fitness, gardening, and living a balanced life.

I am the shop dog. Living my best life full of motorcycle rides, walks around the city and treats.
